Afghanistan Through My Eyes - WVC

Working on my book, I can't emphasize how brave my two daughters are. A couple of years ago they lost their father and now here I proposed going to Afghanistan, a risky venture putting my life in danger. My daughters could have told me no they didn't want me to go into a combat zone and I would have stayed home...but they didn't. They allowed me to go with their blessing which meant more to me than any book deal.
